Glamping retreat in North Wales won three more new awards.
Gwynedd, Wales: Brook Cottage Shepherd Huts have won not one, but three new big awards to add to the others they have already received since the retreat opened in Nov 2021. A press release said that Campsites 'Best Glamping Site (Wales)' Award and runners up for the 'Best Glamping Site (UK)' Award, as well as the prestigious Go North Wales Tourism 'Glamping Site of the Year' Award.
Co-owners Mark Barrow and Jonathan Gooders, both of whom have a background in fine art, said they are honoured to have been selected. "We hand-built all the huts ourselves over a two-year period during the height of the pandemic and these awards are a recognition of all the blood, sweat, and tears."
Brook Cottage Shepherd Huts is a 5-star luxury boutique adults-only retreat located just outside the picturesque seaside town of Pwllheli near the border of Snowdonia National Park and the popular Italianesque village of Portmeirion. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty surrounded by open countryside, the five designer huts overlook a small private wildlife lake and enjoy uninterrupted views of the Yr Eifl mountain range.
The release stated that it has also been featured on TV and in a number of publications, including 'The Guardian' Top 10 Best New Glamping Sites, 'The Sunday Telegraph' Top 10 Wild New Stays in Britain, 'The Times' 25 Best Glamping Stays in the UK, 'The Telgraph' Top 30 Places to Stay, and 'Country Lifestyle & Leisure Magazine' Top Places to Stay in North Wales.
