Australia won the title for the sixth time after defeating India in the final of the 13th edition of the World Cup Cricket on Sunday.

In the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Australia secured the sixth cup by bowling India out for 240 runs with 42 balls to spare.
Australian captain Pat Cummins said after the final match, "I think we gave our best till the end of the tournament." Travis Head and Marnus Labuchen batted very well in important matches like the final. Our bowling has also been good.
Cummins added, "It was a good night to chase runs." After winning the toss I felt it would be easy to chase runs. The pitch was slower than I expected. Today's ICC world cup cricket title win will be memorable in our career and this year will be remembered forever.
