Tech giant Apple is set to open its newest retail store, Apple Jing’an, in Shanghai on Thursday. Located near Jing’an Temple and Park, the store promises a unique shopping experience that blends modern design with the city’s rich heritage.
Apple Jing’an boasts a stunning architectural design, featuring a central staircase, a large video wall, and a dedicated Boardroom space for business consultations. The store will showcase Apple’s entire product portfolio, including the latest iPhone 15 lineup, the new MacBook Air with the M3 chip, and Apple’s eco-friendly Apple Watch collection.
The store prioritizes the Shanghai community. The exterior plaza will host special events, while Today at Apple sessions will celebrate local creatives and their use of Apple products. A 150-person team will be available to assist customers with product selection, device setup, and support.
A Seamless Tech Shopping Experience
For added convenience, Apple Jing’an features a dedicated Apple Pickup station for online orders. The store is also conveniently located near public transportation.
Apple Jing’an marks Apple’s eighth store in Shanghai and 57th store in Greater China. The company remains committed to the Chinese market, fostering a thriving Apple ecosystem and creating thousands of jobs through employment, supply chains, and the iOS app economy.
The grand opening will feature a special performance by young members of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. Apple Jing’an will also host a special six-week Today at Apple program, “Let Diverse Creativity Bloom in Jing’an,” highlighting Shanghai’s next generation of creatives.
