The cream of European blind football descends upon the Royal National College for the Blind (RNC) in Hereford, UK, on Saturday, March 30th, 2024, for a high-stakes clash in the European Blind Football League (EBFL).
This Champions League-style event promises a showcase of exceptional athleticism. Europe's top blind footballers, many vying for Paralympic glory later this year, will battle it out on the pitch at the UK's home of blind football.
A Fast-Paced World of Sound and Strategy
Blind football is an adaptation of the beautiful game specifically designed for athletes with visual impairments. Here's what makes it unique:
Smaller playing field with surrounding boards keeps the ball in play and helps players orient themselves through sound.
Five-a-side teams with one sighted goalkeeper ensure a dynamic and fast-paced game.

Home Team Leads the Charge
The home team, RNC Hereford, boasts an undefeated record and currently leads the League. Their players are dominating the scorers' table as well, with a staggering five players in the top 10. Leading the pack is RNC's very own Eesa Amjid, with an impressive five goals after just two rounds.
