Espoo, Finland – July 25, 2024:

Nokia has unveiled new 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) devices designed to enhance broadband connectivity across North America. The tech giant's expanded portfolio includes an advanced outdoor receiver and an indoor gateway equipped with Wi-Fi 7 technology.

Nokia's aim is to bridge the digital divide by providing high-speed internet access to both urban and rural areas. The new outdoor receiver is designed to optimize signal reception, even in areas with limited coverage. Its compact size and easy installation make it a user-friendly option for consumers.

The indoor gateway, on the other hand, is engineered to deliver exceptional Wi-Fi performance throughout homes. With tri-band Wi-Fi 7, users can enjoy faster download and upload speeds, reduced latency, and smoother streaming experiences. Nokia's Corteca software further enhances the gateway's capabilities by enabling advanced features and optimized network performance.

By combining these new devices with its existing FWA solutions, Nokia offers operators a comprehensive range of options to meet the diverse needs of their customers. The company's focus on user experience is evident in the design and functionality of the new products.

The expanded FWA portfolio is expected to drive the adoption of 5G home broadband services in North America, providing consumers with faster, more reliable internet connections. With the increasing demand for high-speed internet, Nokia's latest innovations position the company as a leader in the FWA market.

The new Nokia 5G FWA receiver and gateway are scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2024.
