Texas, USA – August  17, 2024:

Caterpillar is boosting the efficiency and performance of its next-generation medium wheel loaders with a series of technological upgrades. The new features, designed to improve operator comfort, productivity, and machine reliability, are now available across the 950 to 982 Wheel Loader range, including XE models.

Key enhancements include an improved auto differential lock system, a new tire pressure monitoring system, and advanced job-aid widgets. Additionally, operators can now benefit from customizable settings, enhanced on-board display features, and improved machine diagnostics.

"These updates reflect Caterpillar's commitment to providing our customers with machines that deliver exceptional performance and value," said Caterpillar. "By incorporating advanced technology and operator-focused design, we're helping to increase productivity and reduce operating costs." 

The new wheel loaders also feature refined technology for enhanced operator control, including a new side grip implement joystick and programmable buttons. To further improve operator comfort, Caterpillar has introduced a left footrest and enhanced speed range thumb roller.

With a focus on machine uptime and maintenance, the loaders include remote troubleshooting capabilities, preventative maintenance interval tracking, and a new active carbon cab prefilter for improved air quality.

Caterpillar's next-generation medium wheel loaders are designed to excel in a variety of demanding applications, delivering increased productivity, fuel efficiency, and operator comfort.
