Helsinki, Finland – August 17, 2024:

ICEYE, a pioneering force in Earth observation technology, has significantly bolstered its satellite constellation with the successful launch of four new Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites on August 16, 2024. This latest addition to ICEYE's fleet marks a substantial step forward in providing real-time, high-resolution data for a wide range of applications.

The newly launched satellites, deployed via SpaceX’s Transporter-11 mission, join ICEYE’s growing network of SAR satellites, which already boasts the title of the world's largest constellation of its kind. This expanded capacity will enable ICEYE to deliver even more frequent and detailed imagery of the Earth's surface, regardless of weather conditions or daylight hours.

A unique feature of this launch is the inclusion of the first ICEYE satellite missions for Bayanat and Yahsat. These strategic partnerships underscore the growing demand for Earth observation data and its pivotal role in various sectors, from environmental monitoring to disaster management and urban planning.

“This launch is a testament to our commitment to providing cutting-edge Earth observation solutions,” said Rafal Modrzewski, CEO and Co-Founder of ICEYE. “By expanding our constellation, we are empowering our customers to make more informed decisions, faster. We are excited to collaborate with Bayanat and Yahsat on this journey.”

ICEYE's SAR technology is renowned for its ability to penetrate clouds and darkness, providing invaluable data for a multitude of applications. From monitoring deforestation and natural disasters to tracking maritime traffic and supporting agriculture, the potential of ICEYE's data is vast.

With an ambitious plan to launch up to 13 new satellites in 2024 alone, and a projected 10-15 satellites annually thereafter, ICEYE is solidifying its position as a global leader in Earth observation. This rapid expansion will undoubtedly drive innovation and create new opportunities across industries.

As the world becomes increasingly reliant on data-driven insights, ICEYE's contribution to the global understanding of our planet is set to become even more critical.
