London, UK, August, 16, 2024:

A new website aiming to tackle the ever-growing challenges of parenthood has launched this week. CosyChats, founded by Tim Evans, aims to provide tailored support and a sense of community for stressed-out parents.

Evans, inspired by his own experiences, recognized the unique pressures parents face today. "Parenting has never been harder," he said. Issues like school refusal, excessive screen time, and limited access to support services create hurdles and long wait times for overwhelmed parents.

Social media and unrealistic expectations further complicate the picture. "The pressure to be the 'perfect' family is amplified by influencers, fake news, and education by TikTok," Evans explains. "This creates unrealistic expectations and confuses self-image, potentially leading children down dangerous paths."

Evans highlights additional concerns such as the allure of gangs and drugs, the negative influence of social media bullying, and under-resourced schools with a one-size-fits-all approach that fails many children, especially those with special needs.

"Parenting today feels impossible," he adds. "Never before have parents worried so much about who their children talk to online. Bedrooms, once safe havens, can now be breeding grounds for negativity and harm.  Parenting can be isolating, even with support networks."

Evans' personal journey as a parent fueled his desire to create CosyChats He believes sharing experiences with someone who has "been there, done that" is incredibly valuable.

The website aims to build a community where parents can share their highs and lows, from major milestones to daily struggles. Users can connect with others who have faced similar challenges and  benefit from their knowledge, skills, and understanding.

CosyChats offers a non-judgmental space with impartial support and a friendly ear.  Parents can also book sessions with experienced service providers to address specific concerns in a safe environment.
