The Rhonda Walker Foundation (RWF) successfully raised over $700,000 at its 12th Annual Automotive Industry Golf Challenge on August 12, 2024. The event brought together over 288 automotive industry professionals, enthusiasts, and community leaders for a day of golf, networking, and philanthropy.
Proceeds from the event will directly support the RWF's mission of empowering inner-city teen girls in Detroit. The foundation's five-year program focuses on academic support, college preparation, career exploration, and personal development.
"We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support from our sponsors, participants, and volunteers," said Rhonda Walker, President and Founder of the RWF. "This event is more than just a golf tournament; it's a catalyst for change in the lives of young women."
The RWF has raised a total of $5 million over the past 12 years through the annual golf challenge.
