Majority of FirstEnergy customers have power restored. Check the status of your outage and get estimated restoration time.

FirstEnergy reports significant progress in restoring power to customers impacted by the recent historic storm. Thanks to the tireless efforts of over 7,500 storm responders, power restoration is ahead of schedule, with nearly all customers expected to have service back much sooner than the original estimate of Wednesday, August 14th.
Nearly 90% of Illuminating Company customers have already had their power restored. For the remaining 35,000 customers without service, FirstEnergy has released community-specific estimated restoration times (ETRs).
Customers can find their individual ETRs by logging in to their account at FirstEnergyCorp website or texting STAT to 544487 (if registered for text alerts). While most outages are expected to be resolved sooner than the listed ETRs, some areas with extensive damage may experience delays extending into next week.
"We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and hard work of our crews who have been working around the clock to restore power to our customers," said a FirstEnergy spokesperson. "Their efforts have significantly reduced the impact of this storm and ensured a quicker recovery for our communities."
