Camden, New Jersey, USA, August 17, 2024:

Subaru of America has announced the pricing and details of its 2025 Ascent, a three-row SUV renowned for its spacious interior and advanced technology. The new model year introduces two additional trim levels, the Bronze Edition and Onyx Edition Touring, expanding the Ascent lineup to six options: Premium, Onyx Edition, Limited, Bronze Edition, Touring, and Onyx Edition Touring.

A standout feature of the 2025 Ascent is its expanded suite of safety features. Standard equipment now includes Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Reverse Automatic Braking, and Automatic Emergency Steering. For the first time, Emergency Stop Assist is also offered, which can detect an unresponsive driver and initiate emergency procedures.

To enhance convenience and comfort, Subaru has added Cabin Connect, which amplifies the driver's voice to rear passengers, and an available Surround View Monitor for improved visibility. The Onyx Edition, Limited, Bronze Edition, and Touring trims now come with dual-function X-MODE for optimized performance in challenging weather conditions.

The 2025 Ascent continues its legacy of safety excellence, having earned the 2024 Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) TOP SAFETY PICK+ award and a 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

With a starting price of $38,795, the Ascent Premium serves as the entry point, offering a robust package of standard features including EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, Keyless Access, and a power rear gate. Higher trims introduce additional amenities such as leather upholstery, advanced audio systems, and driver-focused comfort features.

Powered by a 2.4-liter turbocharged BOXER engine paired with a Lineartronic CVT, the Ascent delivers 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque, enabling a towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds. Subaru's signature Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and X-MODE systems ensure exceptional handling and off-road capability.

The 2025 Subaru Ascent is scheduled to arrive at dealerships this fall.
