Morocco's Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch has expressed deep admiration for the advanced battery solutions offered by Gotion High-Tech during a recent state visit to the Chinese company. The Prime Minister, accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Investment, AMDIE, and CGEM, toured Gotion's facilities and was particularly impressed by the company's technological expertise and manufacturing capabilities.
Akhannouch was particularly captivated by Gotion's battery research and development efforts, highlighting the company's decade-long data collection at its Validation Engineering Institute. He noted that this extensive data gives Gotion a significant advantage in the battery industry.
During the visit, the Moroccan delegation also inspected a range of electric vehicles powered by Gotion batteries. Impressed by the quality and performance of these vehicles, Akhannouch enthusiastically expressed his approval, using the term "Formidable!" multiple times.
In a gesture of solidarity and support for Morocco's electrification goals, Gotion Chairman Li Zhen announced that the company would donate all of the electric vehicles displayed during the visit to the Moroccan government. This generous offer was met with gratitude from the Prime Minister, who emphasized the alignment of these vehicles with Morocco's needs and expressed hope for future domestic production.
