A high-level forum convened in Paris on September 27 to explore avenues for enhanced Sino-French cooperation in sustainable development. Hosted by Tongji University, the event brought together government officials, academics, and industry leaders from both nations.
The forum, a cornerstone of Tongji University's 60th anniversary celebrations of Sino-French diplomatic relations, focused on the theme of "Cooperation and Prospects for Sustainable Development in the New Era." Key participants included ZHOU Jiagui, Minister Counselor of the Education Department of the Chinese Embassy in France, Jean-Baptiste DJEBBARI, former French Minister of Transport, and SHI Zhenming, Vice President of Tongji University.
A central highlight of the event was the discussion on the Sino-French Business Administration Talent Pilot Program, a 25-year initiative that has successfully cultivated a cohort of international management professionals. Dean XIE En of Tongji SEM emphasized the program's achievements in producing graduates with a global outlook and expertise in international affairs.
