Chicago, Illinois, USA – October, 15, 2024:

Boll & Branch, a leading online retailer of organic cotton bedding, has opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Chicago, marking a significant milestone in the company's growth strategy. The new location at Oakbrook Center offers customers the opportunity to experience the brand's high-quality products firsthand, including sheets, duvet covers, and other bedding essentials.

After a decade of successful online sales, Boll & Branch's decision to expand into physical retail is a strategic move to reach a wider audience and provide a more personalized shopping experience. The company's chief commercial officer, Katia Unlu, highlighted Chicago's strong brand awareness and the potential for growth in the region.

"Chicago made a ton of sense for us, because we have pretty high levels of awareness in Chicago already," Unlu said. "We already know that this store is going to be successful, because there are a ton of people that are already shopping online, and we're just adding that extra touch point for them by having a store."

The new store is part of a broader trend among online retailers who are increasingly opening physical locations to complement their digital presence. By combining the convenience of online shopping with the tactile experience of a physical store, these companies aim to attract customers who may not be comfortable making purchases entirely online.

Boll & Branch's commitment to quality, ethical sourcing, and sustainable practices has been a key factor in its success. The company's founders, Scott and Missy Tannen, were motivated to start the business after experiencing frustration with the traditional bedding industry. By controlling their entire supply chain, from seed to stitch, Boll & Branch ensures that their products are made with the highest standards of craftsmanship and sustainability.

"We own our entire supply chain, from seed to stitch," Unlu said. "So we harvest and grow our own organic cotton. We partner with factories all over the world. A lot of the production is done in India."

The new store is designed to provide customers with a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience. The spacious layout allows visitors to browse through a wide range of products and easily find the items they are looking for. Additionally, the store features knowledgeable staff who are available to assist customers and provide personalized recommendations.

Boll & Branch's decision to open a physical store in Chicago is a testament to the company's confidence in its brand and its ability to meet the evolving needs of consumers. As the company continues to grow, it is expected to expand its retail presence and further solidify its position as a leader in the bedding industry.
