Lima, Ohio, USA – October 15, 2024:

The University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) has received a generous donation of automotive engines from the ServiceTitan Elite Trades Championship Series (SETCS), owned and operated by Intersport. This donation will significantly enhance the hands-on learning experience for UNOH students enrolled in automotive and high-performance motorsports education programs.

The donated engines, previously used in the U.S. Auto Tech National Championship Driven by Yokohama (USATNC), will provide students with valuable opportunities to work on industry-standard equipment. This hands-on experience will help them develop essential skills and better prepare for successful careers in the automotive field.

"UNOH is a leader in automotive education, and this engine donation aligns perfectly with our goal of providing students with real-world experience," said Scott Mendel, General Manager of SETCS. "By working on these engines, students can bridge the gap between education and practical application."

Trey Becker, Vice President of Business Development at UNOH, expressed gratitude for the donation. "These engines will be invaluable to our students," he said. "They will gain practical experience and be better prepared for the automotive industry."

The fourth annual U.S. Auto Tech National Championship Driven by Yokohama will air on CBS Sports Network this December. This event celebrates the skilled trades and recognizes the contributions of talented professionals in the automotive industry.
