Brescia, Italy - November 6, 2024:

The 1000 Miglia, often hailed as the "Most Beautiful Race in the World," is gearing up for its 43rd edition, set to take place from June 17-21, 2025. This iconic race, a celebration of classic automotive history, invites enthusiasts from around the world to apply for entry in what promises to be another unforgettable journey through Italy. However, the 2025 edition comes with several notable changes and innovations that will enhance both the competition and experience for participants.

For the third consecutive year, the 1000 Miglia will maintain its five-day race format, a decision that has proven popular with both participants and spectators. The route itself offers a blend of nostalgia and modernity. One of the most exciting aspects of this edition will be the reintroduction of the "figure of eight" route, which harks back to the race's pre-war era. This iconic structure promises a unique challenge as it includes both the upward and downward routes crossing over on day four in Empoli, marking a rare opportunity for crews to experience the breadth of Italy from East to West, connecting the Adriatic and Tyrrhenian Seas.

The race will take drivers through some of Italy’s most picturesque regions, including the stunning landscapes of Verona, Siena, Rome, and Parma. With a schedule that carefully traces the historic routes of the 1930s, this year’s race continues to honor the legacy of the classic automobile rally while providing a thrilling, modern-day spectacle.

Entries are now open, with the formal deadline set for 16:00 on January 16, 2025. The confirmation of entries and the list of accepted cars will be announced by April 4. A key requirement for participation is possession of the Registro 1000 Miglia certificate, a credential that ensures the eligibility of vehicles.

A noteworthy change for 2025 is the introduction of an entry fee specifically for participants under the age of 30. This adjustment signals an effort to encourage younger generations to engage with the event, ensuring the preservation of the 1000 Miglia’s future while fostering diversity among the race’s participants.

The race, which Enzo Ferrari famously referred to as a "Unique Travelling Museum," continues to captivate not only those with a passion for automobiles but also those who appreciate Italy’s cultural heritage. The scenic route and historical context of the event offer an unparalleled opportunity to experience the country’s finest roads and landmarks, all while participating in one of the most prestigious motor racing events in the world.

As entries pour in for the 2025 edition, anticipation is high. The 1000 Miglia’s return to Brescia on June 21, marking the end of the race, is expected to be a grand finale, as always, with crowds flocking to cheer on the drivers after their epic journey through Italy. With the combination of historical authenticity, new features like the figure of eight route, and the introduction of a fee for younger entrants, the 1000 Miglia continues to evolve, ensuring its place as one of the most celebrated automotive events on the global calendar.
