Starbase, spanning 1.5 square miles, is envisioned as a modern community with improved housing, education, and civic amenities. SpaceX believes that cityhood will enhance employee facilities and attract future space exploration professionals.
As a corporation, Starbase would gain autonomy to enact local laws, establish essential services like police and fire departments, and access government grants for infrastructure development.
