Grameenphone, in partnership with itel, has launched an innovative co-branded smartphone designed to combine affordability, functionality, and enhanced connectivity. The Grameenphone-itel A80 targets budget-conscious users, offering a high-value solution for those seeking reliable technology at an accessible price.
The A80 features a large HD+ display, a long-lasting battery, and standout specifications, making it an appealing choice for users. With 4GB RAM, 128GB storage, IP54-rated water and dust resistance, and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, it outperforms others in its price range.
The launch event, held at GPHouse, was graced by Grameenphone CEO Yasir Azman, Chief Product Officer Solaiman Alam, and Chief Marketing Officer Farha Naz Zaman, alongside Rezwanul Hoque, CEO of Ismartu Technology BD Ltd, and other dignitaries.
Priced at an affordable Tk 9,990, the device is available nationwide through Grameenphone Centers (GPC) and itel’s retail channels. Buyers can also enjoy exclusive data offers, including 5GB of free internet for 7 days, redeemable via the MyGP app, and the option to activate 10GB for Tk 99 (7-day validity) or 40GB for Tk 298 (30-day validity) multiple times over six months.
