Washington, USA - January 1, 2025:

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson and Deputy Administrator Pam Melroy are set to speak with NASA astronauts Nick Hague, Butch Wilmore, Suni Williams, and Don Pettit on Monday, January 6. The conversation will focus on their mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

The Earth-to-space call, which will be broadcast live, begins at 1:30 p.m. EST on NASA Plus. This event comes as NASA highlights the success of its Commercial Crew Program, which has achieved its goal of providing safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation to and from the ISS. The program, in partnership with American private industry, has opened access to low Earth orbit and the space station, creating more opportunities for people, science, and commercial ventures.

NASA emphasized that the ISS continues to serve as a springboard for future space exploration, including missions to the Moon and, eventually, Mars.
