Koror, Palau — February 9, 2025:

Billion Electric Group (TWSE: 3027), in collaboration with Taiwanese energy innovators, has successfully implemented 495 kWp of solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity and 1,997 kWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Palau, Tuvalu, and the Marshall Islands. These advanced microgrids provide a stable and sustainable energy supply for agriculture, aquaculture, and local communities, significantly reducing reliance on imported fossil fuels. The project is expected to cut carbon emissions by 800 metric tons annually, with aquaculture centers and demonstration farms achieving over 50% renewable energy self-sufficiency. Additionally, livestock farms, offices, and dormitories now operate entirely on green energy, leading to lower energy costs and a reduced environmental footprint.

Billion Electric Group offers comprehensive energy solutions, covering research and development, manufacturing, system integration, and deployment. The project incorporates cutting-edge Made in Taiwan (MIT) renewable energy technologies, including the company's Fusio series battery storage systems, Giga series PV inverters, and an AI-driven Energy Management System (EMS). This advanced system enables real-time power optimization, bidirectional energy transmission, and cloud-based monitoring, significantly improving grid stability and energy efficiency. Designed to maximize solar power utilization, it also features a black start capability, which allows diesel generators to restart autonomously in the event of grid failures, ensuring uninterrupted power supply.

With established operations in Japan and Australia, Billion Electric Group is now focusing on expanding into Southeast Asia and the Middle East, with plans to deploy 50 MW of energy storage systems. Tim Chen, President and CEO of Billion Electric Group, emphasized the company's commitment to advancing energy transition in off-grid and remote areas by developing flexible and scalable microgrid solutions. By forming global partnerships and fostering local service teams, the company aims to enhance system reliability, accelerate green energy adoption, and strengthen grid resilience.

As Billion Electric continues to expand its footprint, its innovative microgrid solutions are driving the transition towards a more sustainable and energy-efficient future.
