Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced a reduction in ticket prices for workers traveling to Saudi Arabia and Malaysia, as part of an initiative from the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, according to a press release issued on Thursday.
The new fares offer significant savings for employees flying from Dhaka to key destinations. For workers traveling to Saudi Arabia, ticket prices have been reduced to $360 (excluding taxes) for routes to Jeddah, Riyadh, Madinah, and Dammam, down from the previous prices of $480, $400, $430, and $400, respectively. Additionally, fares to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, have been lowered to $150 (excluding taxes), compared to the earlier range of $175-180.
These discounted fares are exclusively available to workers holding Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET) cards, traveling to the specified destinations.
