Dover, New Jersey, USA – February 1, 2025:

Casio, a global leader in musical instruments, has announced the U.S. release of two new entry-level models in its renowned Celviano digital piano series. The AP-300 and AP-S200 offer an authentic grand piano feel and sound at an affordable price, making them ideal for beginners, families, and educators.

Since its debut in 1991, the Celviano line has been known for its high-quality sound, reliability, and advanced learning technology. These new models continue that tradition, combining elegant cabinet designs with cutting-edge digital features. The AP-300 features a classic design with gold accents, exuding sophistication, while the AP-S200 stands out with its slim, space-saving profile, measuring only 11.8 inches in depth. Both models include a two-channel, two-speaker system and 19 built-in tones, delivering a rich and immersive playing experience. The Smart Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard replicates the touch and response of a grand piano, with ivory-like white keys and ebony-textured black keys providing a comfortable feel for extended practice sessions.

Additional features enhance the versatility of these instruments. The Volume Sync Equalizer ensures balanced sound even at low volumes, making late-night or quiet practice sessions more effective. A specially tuned Headphone Mode offers a natural and expansive sound for private playing. Both models also come equipped with the WU-BT10 Wireless MIDI & Audio Adapter, allowing seamless wireless connectivity with smartphones, tablets, and computers. This enables easy integration with Casio Music Space, an interactive app that supports learning, sheet music display, and audio playback, while also allowing the piano to function as a high-quality Bluetooth speaker system.

Stephen Schmidt, Vice President of Casio’s Electronic Musical Instruments Division, emphasized the company’s commitment to accessibility and innovation. "These new entry-level Celviano models reflect Casio’s dedication to making music accessible to everyone. By merging traditional grand piano aesthetics with modern technology, the Celviano series provides a fresh and innovative piano experience," he stated.

The AP-300 and AP-S200 are now available at music retailers nationwide and through CasioMusicGear.com. The AP-300, available in black, rosewood, and white finishes, is priced at $2,299.99, while the AP-S200, also available in the same color options, is priced at $1,499.99. With these new additions, Casio continues to push the boundaries of digital piano innovation, ensuring high-quality musical experiences for players of all levels.
