City Bank has introduced a cardless cash withdrawal system, allowing customers to withdraw money from ATMs without a physical card. Announced on Wednesday, the feature, called "Cash by Code," is accessible through the CityTouch app at any City Bank ATM across Bangladesh.
With this service, users can withdraw up to Tk 40,000 per transaction and a maximum of Tk 2,00,000 per day. The bank highlighted the convenience of the feature, enabling customers to access cash securely and effortlessly with just a few taps on their mobile phones.
City Bank emphasized that the initiative enhances financial accessibility, providing a seamless banking experience. The new system is expected to benefit users who may forget their cards or prefer a more secure, digital alternative for cash withdrawals. The bank encouraged customers to explore the feature for hassle-free transactions anytime, anywhere.
