New York, NY, USA — February 4, 2025:

Fox Corporation has announced a charitable commitment exceeding $400,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Louisiana (BGCMLA) as part of its FOX Forward and FOX Sports Gamechanger Fund community initiatives. This investment aims to support workforce development programs and provide resources to youth in Louisiana, including the host city of Super Bowl LIX, which will air on FOX on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The partnership will benefit ten Boys & Girls Clubs across Louisiana, focusing on education, career readiness, and technology improvements. The commitment includes refurbishing the New Orleans tech center, upgrading wireless systems, replacing outdated laptops, and purchasing new sports equipment to engage teens in positive activities.

Through FOX Forward and FOX Sports Gamechanger Fund, Fox Corporation is implementing CareerLaunch, a program designed to help Club teens explore career paths, make informed educational choices, and prepare for professional success. In addition, 400 military-connected youth at the Boys & Girls Club on Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans (NASJRBNO) will receive support through financial literacy education and workforce readiness programs.

Fox Corporation is also establishing multiple scholarships for BGCMLA youth. The FOX Forward Military Youth Scholarship will be awarded to military-connected teens completing the Teen Employment Program. The FOX Forward Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Louisiana Scholarship will be available for students who complete the CareerLaunch program. The FOX Sports Super Bowl LIX Scholarship will be given to BGCMLA representatives in the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Youth of the Year and Military Youth of the Year competitions. These scholarships aim to support recipients in pursuing higher education and vocational training.

In the week leading up to Super Bowl LIX, Eric Shanks, CEO and Executive Producer of FOX Sports, and FOX NFL Reporter Kristina Pink will present the donation to Angel Nelson, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Louisiana, at a ceremony at the New Orleans tech center. Pink will also host a panel discussion on careers in sports media and technology, providing insight for local teens interested in the industry.

Established in 2020, the FOX Sports Gamechanger Fund focuses on supporting nonprofit partners in Super Bowl host cities, emphasizing opportunities for underserved youth and military families. This latest initiative reaffirms Fox Corporation’s commitment to the New Orleans community, leaving a lasting impact beyond the game.

Through its leading brands, including FOX News Media, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, and FOX Television Stations, Fox Corporation continues to drive meaningful change through impactful content and community-driven initiatives.
