Dhaka, Bangladesh — February 12, 2025:
Bangladesh Honda Private Limited on Wednesday unveiled the all-new XBlade PGM-FI, expanding its 160cc motorcycle segment with a focus on advanced technology and performance.
"Honda's global vision is to provide people with the joy of expanding their life's potential through affordable and quality mobility solutions," stated Shigeru Matsuzaki, Managing Director & CEO of Bangladesh Honda Private Limited, at the launch. He expressed gratitude to the over 60,000 Bangladeshi customers who have chosen the XBlade since its introduction in December 2019.
"The new XBlade FI is designed with new technology to meet the aspirations of success-oriented young enthusiasts," Matsuzaki added.
Shah Muhammad Ashequr Rahman, Chief Marketing Officer, described the XBlade as a "Street All-Rounder," emphasizing its blend of advanced technology, excellent performance, comfort, and striking design.
The new XBlade PGM-FI is powered by a 160cc Euro 3 PGM-FI engine, delivering excellent performance with 14.7Nm of torque and a fuel efficiency of 60 KM/L. Its striking design features include a sculpted fuel tank, stylish graphics, and a signature robo-faced LED headlamp.
Safety features include ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), petal disc brakes, a bank angle sensor for accident protection, and a side stand cut-off switch. The bike offers a digital Street-Tech meter, a hazard switch, a long and wide seat for comfort, and a sealed chain for minimal maintenance.
Available in four stylish colors: Radiant Red Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, and Pearl Deep Ground Gray, the XBlade PGM-FI is priced at BDT 240,000.
Customers can purchase the new XBlade PGM-FI from Honda Exclusive Authorized Dealers (HEAD) from February 12, 2025.
