The much-anticipated Mercedes-Benz G580 "Edition One" electric model has officially launched in Bangladesh, marking the arrival of the first-ever electric G-Class in the country. Rancon Motors Limited, the official distributor of Mercedes-Benz in Bangladesh, unveiled the 2025 G580 "Edition One" on 8 February during a grand ceremony.
The Edition One is the inaugural production unit of the electric G-Wagon, making it a highly sought-after collector's item for automotive enthusiasts. This groundbreaking model seamlessly merges the traditional off-road prowess of the iconic G-Class with cutting-edge electric technology, establishing a new benchmark in luxury, performance, and sustainability.
The fully electric G-Wagon features a quad-motor system, delivering a combined output of 587 PS and 1164 Nm of torque. With advanced capabilities like G-Rower, G-Turn, and G-Steering, this vehicle maintains its legendary off-road capabilities while embracing the future of sustainable driving.
Among the distinguished guests present at the launch were Bassbaba Sumon from the renowned band Aurthohin, and the country’s top motor racer, Avik Anwar, who added star power to the event.
