Bangladesh University’s Pharmacy Department made history by hosting its first-ever Mega Reunion, an event that attracted over 500 attendees, including alumni, current students, faculty members, and prominent figures from the pharmaceutical industry. Held on Saturday at the university’s permanent campus, the reunion celebrated the department's legacy and fostered stronger ties across generations.
The event was officially inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh University, Professor Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam, who was joined by Professor Abul Kalam Azad, Chairman of the Pharmacy Department, and a number of distinguished guests. Industry leaders and faculty members were also present, sharing their insights and support for the department’s ongoing development.
Throughout the event, alumni took center stage, sharing their career experiences and offering guidance to current students. The day was filled with inspiring discussions, cultural performances, and awards, making it a memorable occasion for all participants.
Looking ahead, the organizing committee expressed a commitment to holding more reunions in the future, aiming to create lasting connections among all members of the department.
The second phase of the event was marked by a vibrant cultural program, with a standout musical performance by popular singer Noble, which added to the celebratory atmosphere of the day.
