SAN JOSE, California, USA — March 10, 2025:

Parade Technologies has announced a strategic acquisition of the majority of assets from Spectra7 Microsystems, a leading Canadian semiconductor company. This move, revealed in a definitive agreement, includes intellectual property (IP), products, designs, and other related assets, positioning Parade to further enhance its capabilities in high-speed data transmission and connectivity solutions.

With this acquisition, Parade Technologies strengthens its global leadership in providing advanced signal integrity solutions. The purchase will allow Parade to continue offering Spectra7’s active cable products, as well as integrate Spectra7's SiGe technology, which supports data speeds of 112 Gbps and beyond. This will enable Parade to meet the growing demand for high-performance solutions across key sectors like AI-powered computing, data centers, and next-generation consumer electronics.

"By acquiring Spectra7’s assets, Parade is poised to lead the charge in delivering faster and more energy-efficient connectivity solutions for the data-driven world," said Parade Technologies. This acquisition also ensures the continuation of technical expertise and customer support, as a number of Spectra7's employees will join Parade to drive ongoing innovations in these areas.

The transaction is expected to close by Q2 2025, subject to customary closing conditions. Parade Technologies, founded in 2005 and publicly listed on the Taipei Exchange (stock code: 4966), is known for its mixed-signal ICs used in popular standards like HDMI, DisplayPort, SATA, and USB. As a leader in industry standards, Parade’s contributions, particularly to the DisplayPort™ digital video interface, are significant.

Spectra7 Microsystems, based in San Jose, California, is recognized for its expertise in high-performance analog semiconductors that power AI, hyperscale data centers, and spatial computing. The acquisition will reinforce Parade Technologies’ commitment to delivering advanced, high-speed connectivity solutions to meet the evolving needs of industries reliant on high-volume, low-latency data transmission.
