Wisk Aero, a pioneer in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), is set to offer an interactive experience of autonomous flight at the Avalon Australian International Airshow in Geelong, Victoria, from March 25-30, 2025.
Visitors to Stand #4M17 will witness a subscale model of Wisk’s Gen 6 all-electric, self-flying air taxi and immerse themselves in a virtual reality simulation of autonomous flight in Brisbane, providing a first-hand look at the future of AAM.
Industry experts from Wisk will participate in speaking sessions, addressing key topics such as certification, infrastructure, and the integration of autonomous air taxis in Australia. Cindy Comer, Vice President of SMS, Certification, and Quality, will outline the certification roadmap at AAUS SkyTech 2025 in Melbourne on March 24. Dan Parsons, APAC Market Development Manager, will discuss social acceptance for AAM in Southeast Queensland, while Catherine MacGowan, Vice President of APAC and Air Operations, will highlight the broader future of AAM in Australia at the Avalon Event Site on March 26.
