Newtown, Pennsylvania, USA — April 5, 2025:
Edelson Lechtzin LLP, a prominent national class action law firm, is investigating data privacy violations tied to Oracle Health after two separate security breaches potentially compromised sensitive personal data; Edelson Lechtzin stated this on Friday.
The first breach, discovered around February 20, 2025, occurred when Oracle Health detected unauthorized access to its network. An unknown third party gained access to patient data, including Electronic Health Records (EHRs), sometime after January 22, 2025. This breach has raised concerns about the exposure of highly sensitive health information.
The second breach involves Oracle Cloud servers. A hacker using the alias "rose87168" posted on a cybercrime forum offering the data of 6 million Oracle Cloud customers. While Oracle has denied any breach, evidence from security experts suggests otherwise, deepening concerns about the scale of the compromise.
Edelson Lechtzin LLP is currently investigating potential class action lawsuits on behalf of those affected. Individuals who may have had their personal data exposed are urged to take precautionary steps such as monitoring credit reports, reviewing bank account statements for unauthorized activity, and remaining vigilant to prevent identity theft or fraud.
The firm will continue its investigation and update the public as further details about the breaches emerge.
