Munich, Germany — April 9, 2025:
HD Hyundai Construction Equipment and HD Hyundai Infracore have made a bold move to challenge the dominance of top-tier construction equipment brands in Europe. At bauma 2025, the world's largest construction machinery trade fair held in Munich, Germany, the two affiliates of HD Hyundai’s Construction Equipment division unveiled a range of new next-generation models, signaling their commitment to revolutionizing the industry.
The companies introduced their flagship products at bauma, which is ranked alongside Conexpo in the U.S. and INTERMAT in France as one of the top three construction machinery trade fairs globally. These models are designed to meet the unique demands of the European market, combining advanced technology with sustainability. HD Hyundai’s compact equipment lineup and eco-friendly machinery, powered by next-generation energy sources like hydrogen and electricity, are central to their strategy for growth in the region.
The HD Hyundai Construction Equipment booth at bauma covered 3,500㎡ and featured the theme “Intelligent Park,” showcasing more than 20 pieces of advanced equipment. A highlight of the exhibition was the hydrogen-powered excavator, which was nominated for the prestigious International bauma Innovation Award in the climate protection category.
HD Hyundai Infracore, which rebranded as "DEVELON" in 2023, set up a 3,800㎡ booth to feature a range of compact machines and eco-friendly solutions. A standout exhibit was Real-X, the commercial version of the unmanned autonomous solution Concept-X2, which was first introduced in Europe at last year’s INTERMAT. Additionally, HD Hyundai Infracore demonstrated the collaborative potential of autonomous excavators with articulated dump trucks (ADTs) through a partnership with Gravis Robotics.
The unveiling event kicked off on March 7, 2025, during an exclusive "Unveiling Showcase," where HD Hyundai presented the performance and innovation of their next-generation models to an international audience of customers, experts, and industry leaders.
"We’ve dedicated three years of meticulous planning to the launch of our new next-generation models and our participation at bauma,” said an official at HD Hyundai XiteSolution. “Our goal is to show the world HD Hyundai’s technological prowess and demonstrate the value of our innovations as we aim to disrupt the market and compete with industry giants.”
The companies' display of cutting-edge technology and sustainable solutions at bauma 2025 sets the stage for HD Hyundai’s ambitious push to become a leading player in the European construction machinery market.
