Keith Hamilton Named President of Georgia-Pacific's Corrugated Business

Keith Hamilton appointed president of Georgia-Pacific's Corrugated business, overseeing 35 sites and advancing the company's packaging operations across the globe.

Atlanta, USA — April 15, 2025:

Georgia-Pacific today announced the promotion of Keith Hamilton to president of the company's Corrugated business. In this role, Hamilton will be responsible for overseeing the operations and commercial teams at 35 sites worldwide, including box plants, sheet feeders, Hummingbird® digital print, and EarthKraft mailers.

Hamilton, who joined Georgia-Pacific in 2018 as regional area operations leader for the Corrugated business, has held various key roles within the company. Throughout his tenure, he has made significant contributions in advancing Georgia-Pacific's safety initiatives and principle-based culture. Prior to his work with Georgia-Pacific, Hamilton gained valuable experience at General Motors Corporation and Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Additionally, he served in the United States Navy as a nuclear plant operator aboard submarines.

Pat Boushka, executive vice president of Packaging and Cellulose at Georgia-Pacific, expressed his confidence in Hamilton's leadership, stating, "We are thrilled to have Keith lead our Corrugated business. In his new role, Hamilton will focus on advancing Georgia-Pacific's packaging vision of fostering collaboration across teams to achieve exceptional results. Hamilton is actively involved in industry organizations, serving on the Board of the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI) – Corrugated Packaging Council, as well as the Association of Manufacturing Excellence (AME). He is also a member of the Fibre Box Association (FBA) Safety Committee.

With a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Florida State University and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering and management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Hamilton combines technical expertise with strategic leadership. He lives in metro Atlanta with his wife, and their two sons are currently in college.
