AUSTIN, Texas, USA – April 9, 2025:

Oracle and Google Cloud have unveiled a significant expansion of their strategic multicloud partnership, marked by the introduction of an industry-first partner program and the enhancement of Oracle Database@Google Cloud capabilities. This collaboration aims to provide businesses worldwide with unprecedented flexibility and choice in their cloud infrastructure, solidifying the companies' commitment to meeting the evolving demands of the global technology landscape.

The centerpiece of this announcement is the new partner program, which will allow Google Cloud and Oracle partners to resell Oracle Database@Google Cloud through the Google Cloud Marketplace. This initiative is a first for both companies and the broader multicloud market, designed to empower partners to offer integrated, comprehensive cloud solutions to their customers. This program is expected to go live within the next 12 months, opening up new avenues for businesses seeking to optimize their cloud deployments.

In parallel, Oracle and Google Cloud are enhancing the database services available on their platform. The upcoming limited preview of Oracle Base Database Service on Oracle Database@Google Cloud promises to streamline database lifecycle management and offer scalable resources with a pay-as-you-go pricing model. Additionally, the Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure now supports Oracle Exadata X11M, delivering significant performance improvements for AI, analytics, and online transaction processing (OLTP) workloads.

For U.S. Government Cloud customers, the introduction of Oracle Interconnect for Google Cloud facilitates high-bandwidth connectivity, enabling seamless integration between government applications deployed in Google Cloud and Oracle databases.

To address the increasing global demand, Oracle and Google Cloud are expanding their regional presence. They plan to add 11 new regions within the next 12 months, including locations in Australia and Europe, and double the datacenter capacity in existing regions such as London, Frankfurt, and Ashburn. This expansion reflects the companies' dedication to providing robust and scalable cloud solutions to their growing customer base.
