ATLANTA, USA — April 4, 2025:

Papa Johns has entered an expanded multi-year partnership with Google Cloud aimed at transforming the customer experience through artificial intelligence, the companies announced Friday. The collaboration will see the launch of PJX – Papa Johns’ new innovation arm – tasked with reimagining how customers interact with the pizza chain, from digital ordering to delivery.

The initiative will leverage Google Cloud’s AI, machine learning and data analytics platforms, including BigQuery, Vertex AI and Gemini, to personalize every aspect of the customer journey. The companies aim to create a “frictionless and consistent” experience across both in-store and digital channels, boosting order frequency and customer satisfaction while reducing service costs.

PJX will focus on several AI-powered projects, including predictive ordering, real-time loyalty customization, and enhanced customer interactions. The AI systems will suggest orders based on customer history and upcoming events, personalize loyalty rewards and app experiences, and manage automated voice and chatbot services to resolve common queries quickly.

Additionally, Papa Johns will upgrade its restaurant operations with a Google Cloud-based point-of-sale system, enabling intelligent routing, dispatch, and restaurant workflow automation.
