HONG KONG, China — April 16, 2025:

TAHUHU, a top-tier cold chain logistics provider, has partnered with robotics pioneer Geekplus to launch a next-generation automated warehouse in Hong Kong, redefining how temperature-sensitive goods are stored and handled. This strategic collaboration marks a significant leap forward in cold chain innovation, aligning operational efficiency with sustainability goals.

Operating under the theme of high-tech transformation, the upgraded warehouse leverages Geekplus’s advanced robotics systems—including low-temperature autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), 4-way shuttle systems, and vertical lifts. These smart machines are built for efficiency, safety, and uninterrupted operations in harsh cold environments.

“The cold chain industry is rapidly evolving, and automation allows us to deliver faster, safer, and with greater precision,” said Reggie Fung, General Manager of TAHUHU.

A recent impact assessment by Geekplus highlighted outstanding results from the automation at TAHUHU’s facility. The warehouse achieved 100% positive feedback in areas such as temperature control, storage optimization, and operational efficiency. Automation led to a 60% reduction in manual labor, allowing staff to focus on more strategic tasks. Storage capacity expanded by 30% thanks to an optimized robotic layout, while 24/7 uptime ensured seamless, around-the-clock operations. Overall, performance exceeded expectations in key metrics like order fulfillment speed and resource utilization.

The warehouse currently manages three critical temperature zones—0°C to 4°C, -18°C, and -25°C—ensuring consistent cooling, minimal contamination risks, and adherence to stringent food safety standards. In addition, the automation system contributes to lower energy consumption, supporting TAHUHU’s long-term environmental goals.

“From frozen meat to fresh produce, Geekplus ensures product integrity at every stage,” Fung added.

Looking ahead, TAHUHU plans to integrate Geekplus’s RoboShuttle and SkyCube technologies to further boost warehouse scalability and system intelligence. This move strengthens the company’s role as a trailblazer in digital cold chain logistics, ready to meet global demands with precision and resilience.

As the logistics industry embraces the future, TAHUHU and Geekplus stand at the forefront, delivering smarter, greener, and more responsive cold chain solutions.
