MUNICH, Germany – April 12, 2025:
XCMG Crane made a significant impact at bauma 2025, the world's leading construction machinery trade fair, by unveiling six new crane models specifically engineered to meet the demands of the European market. The company’s focus on sustainability, intelligent design, and localized solutions resulted in substantial bulk orders from German, French, and Dutch clients.
The highlight of XCMG’s showcase was the XCA60_EV, the world's first hybrid all-terrain crane, featuring an in-house-developed oil-electric hybrid system that reduces carbon emissions by 40%. This model also includes a 400V plug-and-play electric system for zero-emission lifting, demonstrating XCMG’s commitment to eco-friendly technology.
XCMG also introduced compact and intelligent cranes built on its G2 technology platform, such as the XCA80G7-1E and XCA250G7-1E, designed for efficient operation in narrow urban environments. These models offer features like dual-hook coordination and remote-control operation. Additionally, the company showcased the XCR50_E, XCR70_E, and XCR90_E rough-terrain cranes, which feature eco-friendly hydraulic systems and fuel-saving torque converters, proving their robustness in projects like Turkey's gas power plants.
Yang Dongsheng, Chairman of XCMG Machinery, reiterated the company's "In Europe, For Europe" strategy, stating, "We're committed to being a key enabler of Europe's sustainable, smart infrastructure future." This strategy proved successful, with XCMG securing significant orders for its hybrid and compact models from major European clients.
A general manager from a Dutch lifting and transportation company praised XCMG’s G2 series cranes, highlighting their “impressively humanized engineering,” including a panoramic wraparound windshield and improved operational visibility. The client also commended XCMG's manufacturing quality and adherence to European standards, stating, "From operational ergonomics to equipment reliability, XCMG cranes have won over our technical team with exceptional performance. They will be our preferred brand for future procurement.”
