Quinlan, Texas, USA — April 1, 2025:
ZNShine Solar, a global leader in photovoltaic manufacturing, has announced its significant contribution to the Signal Ranch Solar Project in Quinlan, Texas. The company has supplied 54.648 MW of its high-efficiency bifacial modules for the 67 MW solar installation, which is set to provide clean, renewable energy to the region.
The project, located at BT Signal Ranch, 427 Signal Road, Quinlan, TX 75474, achieved financial closure on December 15, 2023, through non-recourse financing arranged by EastWest Bank. ZNShine’s bifacial modules are integral to the project, providing advanced energy production capabilities that will enhance the overall efficiency and lifespan of the installation.
ZNShine Solar’s bifacial modules utilize 550W double-glass monocrystalline PERC technology. These modules offer superior efficiency, resistance to potential-induced degradation (PID), and durability in extreme environmental conditions, including high humidity, temperatures, and sandstorms. The dual-glass design replaces traditional backsheets, delivering a 30-year operational lifespan with less than 0.5% annual degradation and a 15-25% higher energy yield compared to traditional monofacial modules.
“ZNShine’s modules are engineered to perform in the toughest environments, making them a perfect fit for large-scale projects like Signal Ranch,” said a company spokesperson. "The higher energy yield and proven durability of our bifacial technology will provide long-term value to both the project and the community.”
The Signal Ranch Solar Project is a collaboration between Adapture Renewables and Belltown Power as co-developers, with SOLV Energy acting as the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractor. Scheduled for commissioning in November 2024, the project will generate enough electricity to power approximately 9,335 homes annually, furthering Texas’ renewable energy capacity.
The financing arrangement by EastWest Bank showcases confidence in the project’s viability and in ZNShine Solar's reliable, bankable technology. With an operational capacity of over 10GW globally, ZNShine continues to lead in the solar industry, with products deployed in over 60 countries worldwide.
Founded in 2006, ZNShine Solar is a BNEF Tier 1 PV manufacturer and PVEL Top Performer, with a vertically integrated R&D and manufacturing process.
